filters through closed sanctuary doors.
In steepled social hall
visitors lead
a discussion of how to escape
the confines of us and them:
Establish a commons.
Embrace barren ground. Unearth relationships.
Cultivate community.
Harmony sketches our meeting,
but the din of voices unheard
filters through.
